Install ASP.NET MVC 2 RTM on VS2010 RC

Visual Studio 2010 RC is actually compiled against the ASP.NET MVC 2 RC-1 version, later microsoft has released the RC-2 version and we had lots of discussion on installing the RC-2 on VS2010 RC.

Now microsoft has released the ASP.NET MVC 2 RTM( The Final Version), The final version support will be included in Visual stduio 2010 RTM( Final Version), it will be on April 12th 2010.

So what we will do up to then, should wait until final or start testing ASP.NET MVC 2 RTM on VS 2010 RC.

We can install ASP.NET MVC 2 RTM on VS 2010 RC with three simple steps, like we did previously for ASP.NET MVC 2 -Rc2

Go to Add/Remove Programs in WinXP/2003 or Programs and Features in Win Vista, 2k8, 7,2k8R2

Note :  Please keep in mind, Don’t uninstall Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 2 – Visual Studio 2010 Tools, which is required for smoooth functioning of VS2010 RC and MVC 2,  even if you uninstall it you can re-install it by running setup from VS2010 RC/WCU folder.
