I am part of ITC Family

I have joined with ITC Infotech, Banglore and been part of the family of a company ITC Limited celebrates it’s 100th anniversary this year and ITC Infotech India Ltd, the 100% owned subsidiary of ITC Limited celebrates it’s 10th Anniversary.

ITC Limited, is an Indian conglomerate with a turnover of US $ 6 billion. It ranks third in pre-tax profit among India’s private sector corporations. The company has its registered office in Kolkata.

The company ( formerly known as Imperial Tobacco Company of India Limited ) is currently headed by Yogesh Chander Deveshwar. It employs over 20,000 people at more than 60 locations across India and is listed on Forbes 2000. ITC Limited completes 100 years on 24th August, 2010.

ITC formerly known as “Imperior Tobacco Company”, and now been known as “Indian Tobacco Company”. Initially they were in to tobacco business and evolved, now  They have lots of brands in our Indian market- John Players, Miss Players, Choupal & Vegetable Food Chain those are all few brands i could quickly remember.

I was been to it’s Banglore ITC Infotech Park, 35 acres well desgined and furnished, eco-friendly campus, you will not see sky-scrapper buildings in the campus. The campus it’s displays Environment/Green Friendly atmosphere. It’s all GREEN every where. Buildings are all painted with matching green colors, so that we will not feel a difference on Green Enviornment. 

They preserves lots of Trees, some are of above 50 years old.  I should say, i appreciate such a campus. The Canteen, a big canteen which can accomodate more than 500 people at a time, i believe.
