Windows Phone Toolkit is an additional set of controls for Windows Phone Development released by Microsoft Windows Phone developer platform team through Codeplex.com.  Windows Phone Toolkit provides the developer community with new components, functionality, and an efficient way to help shape product development.

Windows Phone Toolkit – October 2012 includes additional support for using the toolkit controls with recently released ‘Windows Phone 8.0 SDK’.
