The SQL Server Release Services team recently announced that they have released a new Cumulative Update for SQL Server 2008 SP1:

This update will bring you to build 10.00.2789.  From the looks of the KB article, a healthy dose of fixes are made available in this update (a lot more than it looks like are in store for SP2).

Note that if you have installed the SQL Server 2008 SP2 CTP , you should not attempt to install this update.  It is likely that shortly after SP2 is officially released, there will be a follow-up Cumulative Update that will include all of the fixes from CU #9.
