Today i had a telephonic  interview with a reputed company team.  They asked some core information about .NET, but i wasn’t been able to recollect those at that time. I know about it, but at that point i couldn’t recollect things mostly.

It’s part of a typical Software Engineer’s life i think, when we move from technology to technology, we might loose touch with previous things. It’s casual i think, that’s what happened today. There were some Remoting concepts and Core Execution Concepts they asked, but at that point i couldn’t recollect everything, so i would have to tell them “Sorry, I couldn’t recollect it”, what else i will do?. I was not able to remember everything all the time right,  some things are stored some where in the brain, and brain memory management capability would be different for different people.  As humans we don’t remember everything every time right, when we see or practice again we would recollect it.

I do have good memory, as a normal human being i some times couldn’t some things related to Technology i am working. It’s casual i believe, But i couldn’t satisfy the Interview Panel right, they would expect to answer mostly. I believe in answering what i know and pass on remaining things, It’s always better not to make wrong statements. So i avoid such situations maximum, while i am facing the interview panel.

If I don’t know something, i will recollect or learn it and do. That’s my way.. There is no excuse for forgetting things or for unable to recollecting things, human error. I can’t convince interview panel, assuring i will recollect it when necessary. I do not like convincing any body, if i get a job, it should be based on my expertise and my knowledge evaluated by the interviewer, when my interviewer is confident about me,  I will get. That’s what i have to do now,  I think i need to refresh few things, that would be better for my next quest for a better career. Wherever is weak i need to polish those, and i am going to do that.

Anyway i did my best with it. Rest is up to the luck and fate..

Better luck next time..
